The 2017 Valley Disaster Preparedness Fair will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Northridge Fashion Center in the northwest portion of the Pacific Theaters parking lot, 9400 Shirley Ave. Click here for GPS coordinates.

Dr. Jill Barnes, Ph.D., Office of Emergency Services, School Operations, on how LAUSD schools prepare for and respond to emergencies and disasters.
Eric Boldt, Warning Coordination Meteorologist at National Weather Service in Oxnard, will cover severe weather and how you can prepare for adverse impacts.
Tanya Yarbrough will guide you through a session on Pet Prepared-ness and how to get your pet(s) trained and ready for a quick evacuation.
Dan Tomlinson, ACS Battalion 10 Communications Coordinator, will demonstrate and explain how to use any two-way radio to communicate effectively, efficiently, and succinctly in a disaster or emergency situation.
Cedars-Sinai Bloodmobile will be at the Fair from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Give the gift of life at the Fair! Donors may enter the Fairgrounds starting at 9:00 a.m. and proceed directly to donor screening.
